Oh yeah,
I've wrote 2 back ground stories for 2 of our upcoming hits.
Both are still untittled. -.-"

1 of them is a fast pace, in your face Punk rock Track.
the second is a slow metal track, great riffs, great instrumental.
Something like a crossroad with Metallica, iron maiden and trivium coming together for a 3 way collision course!

Watch out for these 2 hits!!!

Oh yah, we're still without a name ( what a pity... )

We need names bitchess...
so come up with a good Hardcore/Metal/Emocore name.

Hey guys,
loads of you have been asking me how sticks can affect the way you play.
here's a short guide book.

Nylon heads,
They're good for "ping"ing cymbals.
They work well as they got a nice full all rounded sound.
They're also good for normal drumming as they tend to have more bounce.

Wooden heads,
So far as i know, they damage my skins, and cymbals...
But if you're playing in live performance, get those thick ones.
YES! they make a difference, but make sure you're playing on someone elses kit. :D

There also are different heads shapes, Round, Arrowed, Blunt.
I know that rounded heads are good for rolling, and are mainly used in marching bands.
Arrowed heads are mainly used in the drumset, most efficient, tend to have a bouncier feel.
Blunt heads are for toms/ snare in marching/ concert bands. They are thick and are very loud due to a large surface area.

So far i've tried out several sticks.

Zildjian Playing with fire Jazz series,
There are 2 types, the thick and the thin.
The thick is quite hardy, it lasted me 1 year, but that was before i became hardcore.
The thin lasted me 1 month. it broke and hit my head.
Weight : Very Light
Price : $16.47
Location : Yamaha Plaza Singapura, Yamaha Thompson Plaza

The Carlos nylon heads 6A Rock sticks.
Never use these. If you want cheap sticks, use the Carlos Rock wooden heads.
I heard they are more hardy. I bought 3 pairs of Carlos 6A rock sticks, it took me 3 days to finish them all off...
Either the tips fell out or the sticks just broke.
I used them for a gig, i had to change sticks after half a song.
Weight : Light
Price : $6.50
Location : Most small music stores

Vater 7A Manhattan,
The 7A Manhattan is a nice pair, its a good to use hardy set.
The 7A Manhattan has nylon heads, which mean they are Cymbal-safe.
Lasted me 1 month, but I went super hardcore with these pair, Rim shots, China smash, Broke my hi-hat...
Weight: Medium Light
Price : $14.00
Location : Yamaha Plaza Singapura, Yamaha Thompson Plaza, Most small music stores

Vater 5B Pro Rock
I'm not sure if they are 5B or 5A, they feel 5B though.
They are my current pair.
Very full bodied, its abit on the heavy side. But they have a very powerful feel when u hit the snare, or toms.
it is very balanced and has a long shaft. so its good for hardcore rock playing :D
Weight : Heavy
Price : $14.00
Location : Yamha Plaza Singapura

Pro.Mark 5A (forgot the name)
I read that Pro.Mark is supposed to be very hardy.
But i used it for like 5 mins, and the first one broke on me...
I must have had bought a lemon.
Its rather light for a 5A.

Location : Yamaha Plaza Singapura, Yamaha Thompson Plaza

Lazer 5A
The sticks is hardy, a bit heavy.
The weight gives it a very nice powerful feel, like the Vater 5B Pro Rock.
Its Wooden Tiped, so its good for live performances.
Economical and powerful.
Weight : Medium Heavy
Price : $8.00

This morning around 1 a.m I stubled upon my childhood!
My long lost past time...

There's nothing like watching the first series power rangers kick ass.

Well her name is Amy Jo Johnson, she's into Singing now.
Its been like, 10 years since that series, but she was in power rangers for like 3 years.

But I still think the longest staying power ranger would be Tommy.
He was the Green Ranger, White Ranger.
Then in Zeo he was Red ranger, he continued acting in several other series.
Bloody hell, he must be at least 30+ and he's still acting in power rangers.

But you think about it, are you gona be in heaven or hell FOREVER... its impossible.
it gets real crappy when i finally find out that there is no answer.

Today was great. Me and Gerald more or less wrote 1 song already... WOOT we're finally breaking in. Too bad, we are still down on members... ( if you got contact plz intro. I already put add on friendster classifieds. ) But its more or less good. We haven't really thought about lyrics yet, so we are open to suggestions. Preferably non-emo :P. Oh Yeah, fixed up my double pedals already... I found out why my left pedal was abit lagy.
The bolt securing the drum head into place was loose.
All i had to do was to take the "L" key and give it a few screws, OH YEAH! Sweet shit!
Now can do 32 Npb, Notes per bar... at around 110 Bpm, Beats per Minute.

Hey guys, the past few days i've been browsing through www.Ultimate-guitar.com
I think most of you have been there. Search for Miscs or Themes under bands...
www.Ultimate-guitar.com has got a whole list of movie, tv, cartoon, game themes that can be played with guitar... ( I like the power rangers ones) comes with percussion... sounds good...
If you know anyone whom can do that, recorded it and post it on the net :)
Before you can listen to those stuff u need power tabs program...
Just download it from http://www.power-tab.net/guitar.php and u got it...

So get the program and listen to stuff... it makes playing the guitar a whole lot easier.

Tried drifting away from saosin songs, NOTHING IS AS SHIOK AS LISTEN TO ALEX RODRIGUEZ ON THE DRUMS! But, managed to drift off for 1 day, Still playing saosin on the drums though... So now i'm listening to Panic! At The Disco. I've only got a few songs, they're not bad, DIFFERENT from saosin but, not bad.

Tried doing some new shit on the drums, Super fills, Bloody Hell I think i'm slanting off rock and into pop/jazz... What Is This World Coming To!?

Oh, yah... btw, that day i was lugging a mattress down from the attic, then I accidentally walked into a flask that was on the step. It fell one step down, and the "Thud" sound was damn loud, 1 sec later U can hear all the glass inside the flask crack. 2 sec later my mom started yelling, " what happen? what happen?" from downstairs...

I have finally found out the reason why I've been shalting. Its something that took me alot of soul searching (sleeping after lunch in ming's house).
It suddenly struck me, why i'm doing all this kinda shit thats giving me sleepless nights.Why! Why! Its not cherishing the feeling around her, Its hating the moments in which your not!

Its taking a bloody hell long time to forget.
If they say time can cure all wounds, I must have had a heart attack.
A lover said, saying Good Bye is the worst feeling that you can feel.
ITS NOT! Its the stuff that happens after you say Good Bye, that feeling of loss, being alone.
It gets you stirred up for quite awhile... If you want an explination on the stirred up feeling, read my earlier posts... SO! WHY THE HELL'SHIT AM I STILL LYING IN MY BED AT 2 IN THE MORNING NOT BEING ABLE TO SLEEP! ( it use to be 3, but now I manage to sleep after 2)

When is it too early to consider the future? And when is it too long to remember the past...

These kind questions get you all stired up in your heart, where you feel that butterfly feeling.

What happens after you die? Go to heaven , hell? how long are you gona stay there?

After you start thinking about it, you realise that it is damn scary that you don't know what your future is gona be.

Imagine you work so hard in this life, and at the end of the day it compiles to nothing, don't you feel like you've wasted your time. (But by right, you can't cause your dead.) But just think about it, if you had a choice know after knowing that theres no such thing as heaven or hell and your soul just disipates into the air after you die... would you choose to be righteous and have little fun, or just go out to do what you like...

This is something you should tell your parents, give them abit of a shock...

Why do we work so hard in this life, when all thats gonna happen is death at the end of a life that might not even be yours... Just take 5mins and think about it...

It'll sure give you that stirred up feeling, guess what, if theres something as heaven and hell... I know where i'm gona be. Do you?

See... no matter how much u think you know about whats gona happen, at then end you'll never know. AND I HATE THIS FEELING... it might not be the case for you guys, but it sometimes just strikes me outta the blue. Like imagine you see a date in the future maybe 18/4/2089. You think you gona last that long to see that date pass you by... I get this feeling everywhere I go, anytime anywhere. Its like when I think about "shalt"... Tell her, its a feeling that i can't describe, but it has to do with how your face ressembles a dog's ASS...

Ok... After like 1 week of anticipation, and battles for tickets.
I only managed to get 1 spare tick, so thats more or less FUCKED up.
but ai yah, heck care... since the show was'nt great.

So, I and ming went to Bishan Mrt to meet Alexis.
WART The fick... Whitlians every-bloodywhere...
Then went to kallang Mrt ( The Journey was shorter than expected)...
So then waited for a friend, passed them the ONE AND ONLY spare ticket.
Then left for our stupid circle around kallang.

First we crossed road into the bus park, then we J-walked a 4-lane road...(Almost got rammed down by a bus...)
so then we followed the crowd...
After around 15 min of walking, we realised that the crowd did not know the way... so we just closed our eyes and prayed for the best and hope that the stadium doors has'nt closed on us...

So after like 30mins in total of walking, we reached the stadium and was welcomed by a damn shiok gust of air con... wooooooohooooo!!!
Found friends, found a seat, sat down, talked... (the bloody prelude was around 30mins long...)

So then we looked around, on the far corner was Woodland IMPS, then Various ITEs Mystic, then B2D(forgot what school), then there was the St Nicks group (Bloody Red Screamers ), in the middle was the VIP crowd, then was the SCGS group stand out ( Bloody Green Screamers ), then was WHITLEY SEC with 2 groups... on the balconey was NTU hall 7's group Se7ens...

When the show started it was like, scream scream scream by BRS and BGS... bloody loud, Benja keep shouting, Kanina getting raped ah or Your father's Sonka arhs!!! So that was like damn bloody funny. The first act was Ronin, lol... Benja again kept shouting , fucking albino gay shit!!
So then, lol... bloody funny again. So then group after group performed. Personally I like Streat Fussion ( I got my reasons )

So yeah, my class's group did'nt get anything(acting sad), the other group got second place... so woohoo half day on friday.

After the performance went around and back to Kallang Mrt, took mrt back to bishan. Lol... our friends T-shirt had the add printed: WIFE FOR SALE...
Lol damn funny, ok... then as we got off the train, I REALISED SOMETHING...
I was the only one wearing black blue black... , alex, walter, "i sold my wife" wore White Blue white... So then i was ultimatly called the Li Tao for our expedition lol... funny....

Ate dinner at Kfc, lol... funny hell... walter's food kena smashed... ( Mountain Dew Zinger) WOOOT! After dinner went to the arcade, saw walter trash another jack-ass in Intial D, the guy lost 4 times and did'nt want to give up... TOUGH LUCK HUH!!!

ok after that go home, sleep, forgot everything (including monday's Tests)... yeah, hell forgot...

Yesterday, I went for a movie - Ultraviolet

The best part was after the movie, Me and Ming did a second round of police hunters.

Then there is gona be another show for upper sec, the school looking for bands to go perform for that 35 min time slot. So, my friend asked my to joined a premade group that they already had, but they were missing a drummer. so... I'm like their REPLACEMENT drummer. Should I Rejoice or should I just smile as they waste my time by choosing crap songs?

There are a few songs i would like to point out.
Most of these songs contain a good example of what i have shown you all,
the easy pattern...flowing chorus and basic bridge

Most of these Bands are common and people often think that their songs
are hard to play.Wrong...
Some of these bands actually use quite an easy bass line for their songs.
If u dont believe me,
Check out Linkin Park's Faint and Somewhere I Belong
You will find that is rather easy to play as their patterns repeat itself.
